چکیده
Device density in cellular networks is expected to increase considerably the near future. Accordingly, access point (AP) will be equipped with massive multiple-input multiple-output (mMIMO) antennas, using collimated millimeter-wave (mmW) and sub-THz communications, increasing bandwidth accommodate growing data rate demands. In this scenario, interference plays a critical role and, if not characterized mitigated properly, might limit performances of network. context, paper derives statistical properties aggregated power for network equipping mMIMO cylindrical array. The proposed model considers link blockage other parameters such as antenna configuration device density. findings show that characteristic function (CF) can regarded weighted mixture two alpha-stable distributions. Furthermore, by analyzing service probability, it found there an optimal array depending on AP height part design dense providing valuable insights deployment resource management scheduling.

متن کاملStochastic Geometry Analysis of Ultra-Dense Networks: Impact of Antenna Height and Performance Limits
The concept of Ultra Dense Networks (UDN) is often seen as a key enabler of the next generation mobile networks. However, existing analysis of UDNs, including Stochastic Geometry, has not been able to fully determine the potential gains and limits of densification. In this paper we study performance of UDNs in downlink and provide new insights on the impact of antenna height and careful site se...
متن کاملPerformance Analysis of Local Anchor Based 5g Hetnets Using Stochastic Geometry
In heterogeneous 5G networks (HetNets) a local anchor node ensures coordination among small cell low power nodes (LPNs). User equipment (UE) that cannot directly reach the local anchor node will transmit and receive data through LPN. To facilitate measurement of the interference power for this 2-hop hierarchical network topology, a total distance distribution between a UE and a local anchor is ...
متن کاملStochastic geometry modeling of spatial wireless communication networks — beyond the Poisson assumption
There is a need for simple, yet realistic models for communication network architectures capturing the spatial distribution of the elements of the network and having a limited number of parameters. This can be obtained via probabilistic modeling based on point processes and stochastic geometry. The probabilistic setting reflects the network variability in time and space, this is particularly re...
